Overview
The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) is a private university in Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya, situated close to the Assam–Meghalaya border and easily accessible from Guwahati. It was established under the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya Act, 2008, enacted by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, and began academic operations in 2011. It is promoted by the Education Research & Development Foundation (ERDF), Guwahati.
USTM received NAAC A Grade in its first assessment cycle in 2021, with a CGPA of 3.07/4.00.
Its accreditation certificate was stated to be valid through November 2, 2026.
